Enable Preferred Location Zip Codes

HomeLight allows agents to specify which zip codes they would like to receive HomeLight referrals in. It's as easy as updating your location preferences in your agent dashboard.

 

  1. Navigate to your 'Settings' in your HomeLight Agent Dashboard.

  2. Select 'Location Preferences'

  3. Select 'Edit Locations' under the 'My services areas overview'

  4. Add any zip codes in your area that you would like to receive HomeLight referrals from and save

  • How can I add my MLS Board and Identifier Number?

  • Can I disable any of my added preferred zip codes?

Yes, if you decide that you no longer wish to receive referrals in a specified zip code that you have manually added, you can easily remove these zip codes and save your preferences again.

 

  • What's the difference between my Historical Transaction Locations and my Requested Locations?

Your Historical Transaction Locations are zip codes based off your verified previous transaction history. Preferred Locations are zip codes that you don't currently have transaction history in, but areas you would like to receive new HomeLight referrals in.

  • Why haven't I received any referrals in my Requested Locations?

Although we cannot guarantee referrals, HomeLight will always prioritize your Historical Transaction Locations when matching you with new referrals.
