HomeLight will automatically send a follow-up text to your clients, enhancing your opportunities to connect and move forward in the home buying or selling process.

How it Works

  1. HomeLight sends you a new referral via text, mobile app notification and email
  2. If you are the first agent to successfully claim the referral, you will be prompted to send a follow-up text to the client or HomeLight will automatically send one on your behalf
  3. You can continue the conversation with the client through the messaging section of your HomeLight portal

FAQs

  • Can I edit the text being sent to the client?

Yes, HomeLight will draft a message on your behalf, however, if you would like to edit this message you can easily do so before sending to the client.

  • What happens if I don't send the message right away?

HomeLight will automatically send the drafted text message for you in a few minutes if you decide not to edit the message, or leave the page.

  • How will I know that my message was sent?

You will get a confirmation message stating your message has successfully been sent, you can either navigate to the client conversation in your portal, or go back to your HomeLight dashboard.

  • When will these automatic texts be sent?

If you are the first agent to claim the referral, the auto-text will send.
