HomeLight adds notes to the referral so agents can prepare for their phone call prior to contacting the client.

How it Works

  1. When claiming a HomeLight referral, there may be additional notes for you to review before connecting with the client.
  2. You can select the drop down to see these notes regarding your new referral.
  3. Review these additional notes before claiming so you have a better understanding of the clients needs and where they are in the process.

Types of Notes

  • Probate - This client is selling a property in probate
  • First-Time Home Buyer - This client is a first-time home buyer
  • Selling for Someone Else - This client is transacting on behalf of someone else
  • Selling for a Family Member - This client is transacting on behalf of a family member
  • Relocating - This client is relocating to a new market
  • Language - This client requires a language other than English
  • Foreclosure - This client is in foreclosure or undergoing a short sale
  • Listed Home - This client's home is listed
  • Home Valuation - This client is looking for a home valuation
  • Cash Offer - This client was initially looking for a cash offer, but is interested in speaking with an agent in regards to their home sale
  • Investor - This client has already been introduced to an investor, but also wast to speak to an agent regarding their home sale
