An agent can directly submit a client who may be a good candidate for HomeLight Buy Before You Sell through the agent’s HomeLight Agent account. In this article, we’ll go over the process to submit your client to the HomeLight Buy Before You Sell program.
How It’s Done
1. Log in and choose the Transactions Tab
When you sign in to your HomeLight account select the Transactions tab at the top of your screen and select the Buy Before You Sell button to get started. Alternatively, you can also go to the right side bar (under 'Available Products') and choose Buy Before You Sell.
To submit your client and their property for HomeLight Buy Before You Sell, you need to first confirm that they fit the Property Eligibility Criteria.
2. Enter Your Client's Information and Property Details
You need to personally submit your clients to the Buy Before You Sell program. Provide your client’s basic information. This includes the name and contact of your client and their property details.
Confirm that the details that you entered are correct. Once done, hit Submit.
What's Next?
Complete Property Questionnaire
The next step after you've submitted your client's information and their property details is to complete the Property Questionnaire. You can access the questionnaire via the email that we will send to you or via your Buy Before You Sell dashboard.
You will receive a copy of your responses via email once you've completed the Property Questionnaire. Your Client Manager will reach out with any questions, if necessary.
